Julie Jones - Optometrist
Julie has been with Visique Harrington Eyecare since 1994. She was the first optometrist in Nelson to complete the post graduate qualification in therapeutic optometry.
Julie is an active mountain biker and is often seen in the hills of Nelson indulging in this passion
Jo - Dispensing Optician
Jo began working at Visique Harrington Eyecare in 2008 after moving to Nelson from Dunedin with her family.
Jo has "Optics in the blood" with 3 Optometrists in her family and qualified as a Dispensing Optician in 2009.
Patsy Connell - Practice Co-ordinator and Optometric Assistant
Patsy is responsible for the day to day management of the busy Nelson practice, with a special focus on providing efficient friendly customer service. Since joining the Visique Harrington Eyecare team in 1992, she has gained a wealth of experience in spending time with our clients, with personal attention to give them the best on offer, to meet their own specific requirements in their eyewear.
Spectacle frames are her passion. For 17 years she has been responsible for sourcing from our suppliers a wide range of over 700 frames - frames that will suit many varied lifestyles, ages, functions, personalities, ‘images’ and price points. From the latest fashion Brands and styles from Europe, to the basic functional and durable, she will find a frame or sunglass that suits.
Linda - Optometric Assistant
With a history of customer service Linda became a member of the team as an Optometric Assistant in 2005.
Primarily responsible for the smooth runnng of the front desk.
Linda is likely to be the first person to greet you or answer your phone call. Linda enjoys the variety of work the practice has to offer.
Jim - Workshop Manager
Jim joined the practice in 1988 after qualifying and practising as a dispensing optician in the United States. Jim is available to discuss lenses, help with frame selection, and is in charge of the workshop.
