Richard Newson - Optometrist
Richard has had over 15 years experience in the optical industry and has been with Visique Harrington Eyecare for the past 10 years. Richard is predominantly in Richmond with a regular day working in Nelson.
Richard has been a councilor and past president of the New Zealand Cornea and Contact Lens Society. Currently he is the Chairman of Optical Holdings Ltd a large New Zealand wholesaling company.
Time outside of work is spent with his young family and enjoying exploring the beautiful scenery this region has to offer either by his road or mountain bike.
Carolynne West - Optometric Assistant
Carolynne has been with the practice since 1995. She enjoys being part of a great optometry team.
Time away from the practice is spent with her family enjoying the wonderful lifestyle the Nelson Tasman area has to offer.
Mary - Optometric Assistant
Mary has worked in Optometry for over 20yrs and has a wide range of skills and experience. She joined Visique Harrington Eyecare in October 2002 where she thoroughly enjoys being in a customer service role.
In her spare time Mary likes spending time with family, gardening, walking and reading.
Diane - Dispensing Optician
Diane is originally from UK and has been in the Optical industry for 23 years. She is a fully qualified New Zealand registered Dispensing Opticians (ADONZ). Diane is available in our Richmond practice for Frame selections and Lens discussions.
Paula - Practice Co-Ordinator
Paula joined our team in 2001, with 9yrs experience in Optics, she is our frame buyer for Richmond.
She enjoys introducing clients to new styles and keeps up to date with the latest Optical fashion trends.
Paula is our Practice Co-Ordinator and enjoys the challenge of keeping us all in line!
